En verdad os digo que antes pasar\u00e1n el cielo y la tierra que deje de cumplirse hasta la \u00faltima letra o tilde de la ley. El que se salte uno solo de los preceptos menos importantes y se lo ense\u00f1e as\u00ed a los hombres ser\u00e1 el menos importante en el reino de los cielos. Pero quien los cumpla y ense\u00f1e ser\u00e1 grande en el reino de los cielos. Porque os digo que si vuestra justicia no es mayor que la de los escribas y fariseos, no entrar\u00e9is en el reino de los cielos. Hab\u00e9is o\u00eddo que se dijo a los antiguos: \u201cNo matar\u00e1s\u201d, y el que mate ser\u00e1 reo de juicio. Pero yo os digo: todo el que se deja llevar de la c\u00f3lera contra su hermano ser\u00e1 procesado. Y si uno llama a su hermano \u201cimb\u00e9cil\u201d, tendr\u00e1 que comparecer ante el Sanedr\u00edn, y si lo llama \u201cnecio\u201d, merece la condena de la \u201cgehenna\u201d del fuego. Por tanto, si cuando vas a presentar tu ofrenda sobre el altar, te acuerdas all\u00ed mismo de que tu hermano tiene quejas contra ti, deja all\u00ed tu ofrenda ante el altar y vete primero a reconciliarte con tu hermano, y entonces vuelve a presentar tu ofrenda. Con el que te pone pleito procura arreglarte enseguida, mientras vais todav\u00eda de camino, no sea que te entregue al juez y el juez al alguacil, y te metan en la c\u00e1rcel. En verdad te digo que no saldr\u00e1s de all\u00ed hasta que hayas pagado el \u00faltimo c\u00e9ntimo. Hab\u00e9is o\u00eddo que se dijo: \u201cNo cometer\u00e1s adulterio\u201d. Pero yo os digo: todo el que mira a una mujer dese\u00e1ndola, ya ha cometido adulterio con ella en su coraz\u00f3n. Si tu ojo derecho te induce a pecar, s\u00e1catelo y t\u00edralo. M\u00e1s te vale perder un miembro que ser echado entero en la \u201cgehenna\u201d. Si tu mano derecha te induce a pecar, c\u00f3rtatela y t\u00edrala, porque m\u00e1s te vale perder un miembro que ir a parar entero a la \u201cgehenna\u201d. Se dijo: \u201cEl que repudie a su mujer, que le d\u00e9 acta de repudio\u201d. Pero yo os digo que si uno repudia a su mujer \u2014no hablo de uni\u00f3n ileg\u00edtima\u2014 la induce a cometer adulterio, y el que se casa con la repudiada comete adulterio. Tambi\u00e9n hab\u00e9is o\u00eddo que se dijo a los antiguos: \u201cNo jurar\u00e1s en falso\u201d y \u201cCumplir\u00e1s tus juramentos al Se\u00f1or\u201d. Pero yo os digo que no jur\u00e9is en absoluto: ni por el cielo, que es el trono de Dios; ni por la tierra, que es estrado de sus pies; ni por Jerusal\u00e9n, que es la ciudad del Gran Rey. Ni jures por tu cabeza, pues no puedes volver blanco o negro un solo cabello. Que vuestro hablar sea s\u00ed, s\u00ed, no, no.
